Limitless Applications

From insulation and filling to structural elements, our NLAC technology provides a solution.

By choosing NLAC, you are not just selecting a material; you are opting for a smarter, more efficient, and sustainable future for construction.

NanoPORE™ Advanced Lightweight Aerated Concrete (NLAC) has many advantages over ordinary Foamed Concrete (CLC), Aerated Autoclaved Concrete (AAC) and even other insulation materials.

NanoPORE™ vs. Aerated Autoclaved Concrete (AAC)

NanoPORE™ Advanced Lightweight Aerated Concrete Aerated Autoclaved Concrete
Basic Raw materials
Cement, Fly ash or sand, water & foaming compound & additives
Cement, lime, Fly ash or sand, Aeration compound & High energy input
Production Process and setup
Can be produced at both centralized plant as well as at project site using exclusive mixer and foaming generator
Produced only in well established plant equipped with steam boiler and high pressure auto-claves
Curing Process
Normal Air or water curing is sufficient. For accelerated curing, steam curing under normal atmospheric pressure is sufficient.
Curing under 160 to 200 Deg Celsius and at pressure of 12 Bar using Autoclaving chamber.
Density area
100-1400 kg/cbm
400-700 kg/cbm
Water absorption
Less as it has closed cell pores and so water penetration is less
More as the pores are interconnected due to the escape of Hydrogen gas while in aeration process
Eco- Friendliness
– Pollution free
– Least energy requirement
– uses industrial wastes Fly ash, slag, etc.
– Saves Transportation cost and vehicular pollution due to that if produced at site

– Pollution due to burning of oil or
wood for boiler for Autoclaving
– high energy requirement
– uses industrial wastes Fly ash, slag,
etc.
– Only produced at centralized facility
and so can’t avoid transportation and
vehicular pollution.

Density area

18 – 75 Kg/cbm
100-120 Kg/cbm
Water absorption
In very low density, it absorbs high amount of water due to too many pores but releases as soon as it dries
Absorbs water but won’t release water easily and so affects insulation
More as the pores are interconnected due to loosely connected fibres and releases quickly but fibres get soggy losses porosity and insulation.
Resistance to Fire
Very high, A1 Emits no smoke nor spreads the flame in the building People can escape from fire easily
Very Low, E Emits toxic smoke and spreads the flame quickly in the building Difficult to escape from fire easily and people may suffocate from the toxic smoke
High, A1-A2 Emits no smoke nor spreads the flame in the building People can escape from fire easily
